“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:36, ESV)
What do we do when our days are spent doing something other than what our hearts long for? When we just know God has a different plan for this one life of ours than where we find ourselves today?
Sweet friend, I have been there. In fact, pieces of me are there now. And, at this moment, I am holding on to what I do know… that God sees me, loves me, and is good to me.
Meditating on these truths miraculously changes my narrow perspective. It opens my heart up to the wisdom God has shown me… that there is more to God’s placing me here than I understand (Proverbs 3:13).
He is preparing me, sanctifying me, and working all things together for my good—right where He has placed me today (Romans 8:28; 2 Timothy 2:21).
This strengthens me to move forward in my now to glorify God—even in this (Philippians 4:13).
Father, strengthen us with Your Truth. Help us with our weaknesses today. Help us glorify You in all that we do so that Your name will be exalted in this exact place You have called us to today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
